What is Shamanic Reiki?

Shamanism is the earliest spiritual practice known to man and the word shaman comes from the Tung tribe of Siberia meaning ‘healer’ or ‘one who sees in the dark’. The traditional role of the shaman is to delve into the underworld (unconscious) to retrieve our wholeness. In the world of the unconscious realm (also known as the underworld) the shaman uncovers and retrieves missing pieces of our personal life’s puzzle. As each piece is retrieved and replaced, we discover a more Authentic Self, transforming our reality from within. We discover more of who we know ourselves to be and begin to bring forth our gifts and talents.

Soul Essence Retrieval

We are all born with the power of our own life force, our soul essence that grows and develops as we grow on our journey through life. Occasionally under stress or trauma, part of our soul essence can break away as part of a survival strategy and retreat into other dimensions. This can often lead to a feeling of something missing, incompleteness and not being as one, an inability to move on from losses and relationships, or feeling drained or disconnected. This process, with the help of the Shamanic healer allows one to get back in touch with aspects, through journeying to these dimension to locates and retrieve these soul parts. Extraction

The Shaman healer tracks and removes energies related to past wounds that have become trapped in your energy field and affect your life in adverse ways. These energies may be from past lives, present traumas or from past wounds. By journeying with the help of the shamans spirit allies, these energies, are removed, ties that bind are cut and your energy is freed up to allow for the cleansing and healing of your body and energy.

An Illumination

An illumination is the releasing of stuck energy and patterns in the chakras. Releasing stuck energy through the chakras thus
cleansing and re-balancing the chakras.

Another unique aspect of Shamanic Reiki healing is that often, ancient spirit and animal guides are often called upon to help with healing and giving energy to a patient. The practitioner or the patient may be in direct communication with these guides, who can greatly assist with the patient's healing. It is an interactive treatment that the client is directly involved with. Treatment involves chakra healing techniques, the use of stones and quartz crystals as well as herbs and oils. The Shamanic Reiki energy, together with crystals, helps increase the flow of spiritual energy, thereby regaining the balance that was lost.

What happens during a Shamanic Reiki Session?

The Shamanic Reiki session is an interactive session, which involves both the patient and the practitioner working together to find obstructions in the patients energy system. Once these obstructions have been located, Shamanic Reiki practitioner helps her patient neutralize this/these blockages by asking the patient to name the obstruction as an object. This can then be neutralized through various methods, which will involve feedback from the patient. At this point, the Shamanic Reiki practitioner asks her client whether he/she would like the object to be assimilated into her body or removed. If the client requests that it is removed, then the practitioner proceeds to slowly move the object with her hand or releasing movements dependant on the object. Use of crystal wands may be used to help uproot the object. After the client indicates that the obstruction has been fully absorbed into the rock or crystal, the practitioner removes the stone where it will be taken away and cleansed of all remaining energy. It is important to note that energy is not good or bad. Its just energy.

Another method is where the Shamanic Reiki practitioner gets the patient to blow all negative emotions into selected stones which the patient chooses, these are them place on the patient where the blockages are to enhance connection to the obstruction, guides and may at times include a soul retrieval depending on what is coming up for the patient. The patient is asked how far he/she wishes to proceed. This is also done with the guidance of the Reiki practitioner as well as the patient’s power animal guides.

There is no need to re-experience the trauma and emotional or physical pain that’s held there as we are simply dealing with the original imprint that informs the physical, mental and emotional bodies. We are working at the source of the wounding at an energetic level so that changes can be made with ease and grace at a cellular level within the body.
